About this artwork
Comfort Rose is Pam's way of expressing and experiencing of how nature and art supports her through any adversity. She was grieving through challenges form COVID, and took a loosened approach to this floral, to focus more on the palette, the calming movement of the rose's energy and how the scent soothed her. This work is created with natural earth paints and walnut oil, a process of the masters which has proven to stand the test of time.
