This painting is based on a storm off the California coast that I saw one spring day while walking my dog along the bluffs just south of Half Moon Bay. I stood in awe as the clouds danced in a kaleidoscope of colors for 40 minutes, and then suddenly disappeared. This painting is on a gallery wrapped canvas and the image continues around the sides. It comes wired and ready to hang.
Sheila spends many hours studying clouds from the cockpit of her sailboat on the California coast. Sheila's award-winning paintings have been exhibited in museums and galleries throughout the United States and Europe. She has received recognition from the National Arts Appreciation Program, and her work has been exhibited at the prestigious L'Espace Bateau Lavoir in Paris.
