About this artwork
A Causal Loop is a theoretical proposition in which, by means of either retro-causality or time travel, a sequence of events is among the cause of another event, which is in turn among the causes of the first-mentioned event, explains artist Nata Zaikina. When I look at children playing, how the jump rope takes off over the heads of the girls, the thought comes to me that the memories of childhood catch us and return us to that serene time. Why? Perhaps, we hope to change something in the present.
