This painting depicts ruins of an old castle in morning light. It's not far from my home, so I went there a few times to finish the painting. I then added small details in my studio. This piece is on a gallery wrapped canvas and the painting continues around the sides. It comes ready to hang.

Stefan Conka is a self-taught landscape painter from Slovakia. He often drives around looking for nice scenery. If he’s lucky, a beautiful scene will suddenly appear out of the blue. Other times he has to walk for miles to discover it, or even paint entirely from imagination. Stefan delights in the interplay between objects and light, and hopes to share that joy with the viewer.

August Fields is a wonderful piece and WAY under-priced for the degree of professionalism and finesse of brushwork. Stunned that this isn't sold yet. Love this painting. Wish I had a wall for it. Tiny homes have their downside. -hhh
