Inspired by a flowering vine that I happened upon in the backyard of my new house, this piece is meant to evoke joy and warmth. Even as summer faded into fall, this little vine with its heart-shaped leaves kept on blooming, and, as I had just emerged from a challenging few months, it was a welcome reminder of the beauty and happiness that comes with persistence. I have no idea what kind of plant it actually is, but its resilience and serendipitous discovery have made it a favorite of mine.
