About this artwork

A peaceful landscape balanced between impressionism and abstraction. The edge quality was something that I liked about this work, says artist James Hartman. He experimented with texture and painting tools to deliver a new take on his frequent renditions of the Berkeley Marina. This is a spot I have in my mind from repeated excursions there.
