I tend to be an early riser and rely mostly on an internal clock. My wife and I stayed at a bed and breakfast recently, and the early morning sun made its way into the room through a gap in the window treatments. The sun cut a bright shaft of light right onto my side of the bed. I might have gotten up anyway but the crisp light ensured that I would be up in time to see and capture the beauty of the moment as my wife lay nestled in the sea of sheets and quilts. This painting is on gallery wrapped canvas with white edges. It comes ready to hang.
