I love painting bar and cafe interiors with strong backlighting. When I saw this man at the bar engaged in conversation with the bartender, I imagined one of them saying, "And then what happened?" The painting is on oil-primed linen mounted on board.  It is finished with a UV protective varnish and will need a frame for display.
