This painting speaks to the love of family and the movement of life. The piece was created with mixed mediums, acrylic and faux-stained glass paints. This technique provides a beautiful shine and richness to the canvas. The forms are then identified with color shades and white relief. Black and gold is added to bring texture to the canvas.

This piece is on a gallery wrapped canvas with finished edges. It comes ready to hang.

Getting to Know Clemence

Initially everything is abstract, gestural and intuitive for Clemence Dubois. A shape becomes a bird, a fish, a flower or a character. Her paintings capture colors and shapes that words have yet to say. She says, “I want people to look at my paintings and observe my feelings for beauty in all forms and my joy of living that permeates my art.” Clemence likes to read, watch television, swim and travel. She also leads workshops in creative and figurative painting.
