For every painting Michele Morata creates, she includes a Poetic Art Statement. "Poetic words emerge while I am painting, which become the statement," says Michele. "It's my intention that these words can be used as a form of meditation with each artwork."
Poetic Art Statement for this piece: My Sueno - My Heart.
Michele's inspiration came from a dream where she was painting en plein air in a beach setting. This series was painted on the beach in her dream and may be interpreted as purely abstract, landscape or waterscape.
She created the work with eco-friendly oil paint with organic semi-precious pigments and textures, natural sand, crushed stone, recycled glass particles, and melted silver leaf on a cradled wood panel with finished white edges. Some areas of silver leaf were burnished to produce more metallic effects. It comes ready to hang.
