My inspiration for “Sueño I” came from a beautiful dream, where I was at Treasure Island Beach behind the Montage in Laguna Beach, CA. This nature series was done en plein air on the beach in my dream.

This piece was made with eco-friendly oil, organic semi-precious pigments, natural sand, and recycled glass particles on a cradled wood panel with finished edges. It comes ready to hang. The piece is part of a series of three works, Sueño I and Sueño II are also available on UGallery. The works would look great displayed alone or together as a triptych.

Getting to Know Michele

Michele Morata takes a very spiritual approach to painting, letting each piece come through her. Her works feel abstract, atmospheric, and serene. She currently lives in California, near the ocean and mountains, and finds inspiration in meditation and positive human emotions. Fun fact: she considers herself an eco-friendly artist and has researched mediums that are organic or recycled in nature.
