On a recent visit to British Columbia I visited Red Sand Lake. I wasn't able to determine why it's called Red Sand Lake because I only saw standard colored sand everywhere I walked. It is a beautiful area even with its ordinary sand. This painting is on a gallery wrapped canvas and the sides are finished with black. It is varnished and arrives ready to hang.

Getting to Know Patricia

Patricia Freeman lives in Oklahoma City with her husband. When asked why she paints, Patricia replied, "I paint because I have to." The process, peeling the plastic off a new canvas to smelling the paint, lifts her to a state of pure joy.
