This piece is part of a series of large hyper-textured works. In physics, gravitational waves are ripples in the curvature of space and time, which propagates as waves. For this piece, my intent was to reference the existence of mankind, how we ended up here and where are we going? This mixed media work is made of raw cotton, canvas, bitumen, oil, acrylic, volcanic sand, and natural resin. The piece is on a gallery wrapped canvas with finished edges and comes ready to hang.
