"If You See Somebody Without A Smile, Give 'Em Yours!" is a unique piece from my Uniform Series where I began experimenting with incorporating paper collage and oil paint. As for the painting's subject, I worked from found images of cheerleaders from different time periods. The painting is on a gallery wrapped canvas with finished edges. It comes ready to hang.

The colorful works of Lucille Pack seem like glimpses of a larger story. It’s no surprise, then, that the artist approaches each painting as a “character study.” In her group portraits, each figure plays an important role. “As I paint, I create stories around the people in my paintings based upon their expression, stance and relation to others in the painting,” she explains. Her current series focuses on found photographs. When she’s not making art, she enjoys cooking, traveling and practicing yoga.
