I made this work as part of a series of works that deal with my memory and identity. I look through my photo archives and find pictures that are important memories for me and find a way to pull a single strip of the image that can sum up the entire photograph.  The images are on 18 strips of perforated vinyl, each of which is then mounted to steel. The strips of steel hang next to one another so the viewer can see many pictures simultaneously.  This piece is installed by hanging each steel strip on a single screw.  An installation guide is included.
