"Monkey Bars" is inspired by the colors of a playground. It is a nostalgic piece for me since I would often run and play at the park with my siblings as a child. This original conveys freedom, and adventure. It is a moment for me to look back to the days of childhood, when I hadn't a care in the world... a fleeting, but fond memory. The bold colors are happy, yet sophisticated. I have used ink, acrylic, and pastel to achieve a variety of media for interest and detail.

Getting to Know Autumn

Expressionist painter Autumn Rose finds inspiration in the colors of her daily life. She employs a variety of media and tools to generate texture and depth in her work. Guided by intuition rather than plan, Autumn creates abstract explorations of everyday scenes with a notable focus on still life. Pastel pinks and greens are common across her body of work, leaving the viewer with the notion that in the world of Autumn Rose, it is in fact perpetually spring.
