This is a wildly cluttered table top with an oversized doily, and a happy bouquet of golden blooms. I gained inspiration from my free spirited grandma Marie, whom I miss dearly. She loved to collect things, and was messy, but very clean. She always had clutter on her kitchen table, but cleaned her sink daily with a cotton wash cloth and apple cider vinegar to ensure it was "germ free." Marie's Mesa is a joyful piece with lots of whimsical detail.

Getting to Know Autumn

Expressionist painter Autumn Rose finds inspiration in the colors of her daily life. She employs a variety of media and tools to generate texture and depth in her work. Guided by intuition rather than plan, Autumn creates abstract explorations of everyday scenes with a notable focus on still life. Pastel pinks and greens are common across her body of work, leaving the viewer with the notion that in the world of Autumn Rose, it is in fact perpetually spring.
