My process is sometimes deliberate, but more often it’s an intuitive reaction to the dynamic physical landscape and changing weather patterns where I live in the Rocky Mountains. Layers are applied and alternately buried and unearthed, in a way mirroring the processes at work in the human soul. Pieces from the Luminous Series with metal leaf and resin are reminiscent of shimmering mid-summer days in the high desert.
