In 2016 I inherited an envelope of old photographs my mother had taken at a closed and soon to be demolished icon of my area, Idora Park. This old amusement park holds many memories for so many people, it lives in dreams of youthful times gone forever. My mother danced at concerts there in the 30's, my brother in the 50's and I rode the rides in the 60's. The artwork has been mounted on 12" x 8" foam board for stability.

Getting to Know Libby

Libby Ramage infuses a playful and whimsical mood into her works. In fact, she credits the children she works with for greatly influencing her aesthetic. She often uses children’s abandoned work in her collages. Libby currently lives in New Jersey and finds inspiration in the work of Rauschenberg. She believes collectors should buy from the heart.
