"Friday Night" is a mixed media work composed of charcoal, maps, homework, wine labels, fabric, and a t.v. guide on handmade paper. I assembled this piece with the theme of a student on a friday night in mind. The end of the week connotes so much possibility inaugurated by what we do to escape the weekday. This work is on paper and will require a frame in order to hang.

Getting to Know Libby

Libby Ramage infuses a playful and whimsical mood into her works. In fact, she credits the children she works with for greatly influencing her aesthetic. She often uses children’s abandoned work in her collages. Libby currently lives in New Jersey and finds inspiration in the work of Rauschenberg. She believes collectors should buy from the heart.
