This is a geometric, abstract rendering of a modern building. There is shiny silver paint and silver leaf used to convey the sense of steel beams that support this art deco-style structure. The cool grey tones are livened by the purple and warmer grey.

The painting is made of acrylic, oil, enamel, and silver leaf on a gallery wrapped canvas with finished white edges. It comes ready to hang.

Getting to Know Gloria

Gloria Blatt loves to capture energy and movement in her works through the use of vibrant colors and bold brushstrokes. She finds inspiration in everything from oceans to people, and some of her favorite artists include Picasso, Manet and Haring. A cardiologist in Texas decorated his whole office with her work because his patients said her art made them feel better. When she’s not making art, she loves to cook using fresh, locally grown produce. She currently lives in Canada. Fun fact: she rarely uses an easel to paint, instead painting her canvases on the floor.
