Spanish Mustangs wander northwest Oklahoma, grazing the prairies and private ranches of the area. They are descendants of horses ridden by Spanish explorers, Coronado and De Soto, and the French explorers that came after them. They are living symbols of our western heritage. This painting is done on a heavily textured composite board and varnished. It will need a frame for display.

Getting to Know Patricia

Patricia Freeman lives in Oklahoma City with her husband. When asked why she paints, Patricia replied, "I paint because I have to." The process, peeling the plastic off a new canvas to smelling the paint, lifts her to a state of pure joy.
