The painting was inspired by celestial events and phenomena. The colors and re-configuration of the painting are meant to mimmic or interpret celestial bodies and access parallel dimensions of viewing.

This painting was made using tinted shellac on a single sheet of birch wood. The wood was then cut into strips and re-assembled in a different configuration. It comes ready to hang.
