This painting was done in one day as a quick response to a photograph I had taken. It has an energy that sometimes gets lost when reworking a painting, and it speaks to the emotional response I had to the bird sitting so calmly on this branch. It is a moment of serenity in the busyness of the day. That is true for me with both this image and the process itself. The painting is on a gallery wrapped canvas with finished white edges. It comes ready to hang.
