About this artwork
This is a piece I painted after I did a photo shoot in my backyard. I was interested in photographing the saxophone on a bright sunny day with a field of grass in the background and foreground. I used the photo to make hundreds of templates that were used to paint the piece entirely using an airbrush. I was intrigued by the reflection of light on the metal surface.
