This series developed out of a desire to abstract the idea of space and time, as well as to combine figurative elements with the background. I am interested in how spaces intersect in our memory, and these works draw on overlapping figurative forms to convey that. I also was influenced by the color palette and line work of Amy Sillman after seeing her retrospective at Bard College last year. This painting is on a gallery wrapped canvas with finished white edges. It comes ready to hang.
