This painting was done on a loose piece of canvas with my students. I bright in color inspirations for all of us to work from. Mine were gerber daisies. I love teaching. It pushes me out of my comfort zone as I push my students.

When Christine Soccio reclaimed painting, she did it after a 16 year hiatus. In her work, she lets her intuitive self take over, trusting in the process. She says, "I follow my most sincere emotional state into a realm of honest expression, through use of composition and color." Some of Christine's influences are Joan Mitchell, Rothko and Van Gogh.
