About this artwork

Waterlilies float in a calm pond on a clear day in this painting. I found a lovely quiet lily pond in Sonoma at the Sunset test gardens there. I thought about the wonderful paintings of waterlilies that Monet painted, and of his delightful pond at Giverny.
