I named it Tron after the sci-fi movie, since it invites the viewer deeper and deeper into a world of layers and changes, into a matrix.

Getting to Know Lilac

Art and painting have always been present in Lilac Abramsky-Arazi’s life, however it has only been in the last few years that she has committed herself fully to her artwork. Lilac pursued an academic career in neuroscience and worked as a psychologist for many years. Her academic and professional background has contributed to the maturity and depth in her paintings. Her abstract works seek to be emotionally evocative in their strong sense of movement, vibrant color, and patterns. They often respond to moments in her own life, changes, disappointments, and hope.
