Back in June of this year these starving, barely weaned puppies wandered into my life. It soon became apparent they had contracted parvovirus. My vet was kind enough to give me enough antibiotic for both animals, and my family worked in shifts feeding them baby food and electrolytes to keep them alive. We were successful! Here they are at nine months old and well over 50 pounds. I've been struggling to find toys tastier than the pedals of my bike. They seem to like these, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

This painting is on a gallery wrapped canvas with finished edges. It comes varnished and ready to hang.

Getting to Know Patricia

Patricia Freeman lives in Oklahoma City with her husband. When asked why she paints, Patricia replied, "I paint because I have to." The process, peeling the plastic off a new canvas to smelling the paint, lifts her to a state of pure joy.
