This is another piece from the Color Bomb series that riffs on the landscape and seasons. As the title suggests, I was finishing up this piece in late July. But much of the work happened during the peak of summer when the colors were hot and wild. At least for me, though I can sense when I look at this work that summer was on the wane and the longer shadows of fall were on the way.
