About this artwork

A modernist composition in many layers of red, black and cream over obscured blue, pink, green, yellow and white. Gary intuitively applied the paint with bits of tape and other found material to build up the surface texture and create small points of interest across the piece. Part of an ongoing series drawing inspiration from the walls and floors of manufacturing plants where Gary worked.
