Looking out my window at this birch tree in mid-winter, I was struck by the thought that just as spring will come for this tree, a new season will also come into my life. I found encouragement from this beautiful tree about things hidden from our sight. The painting is on a gallery wrapped canvas with finished white edges. It comes wired to hang.

Mel's slightly anthropomorphized birds always seem to carry a message of hope. By simply associating these creatures with written tags, they feel knowing and empathetic. OR, a fluffy little owl and the first signs of spring. What's not to love?
