This paintings is about the encouragement of friends. One of the birds is in a tough spot, stuck on a seemingly impossible stack of rocks. The other bird comes along to encourage him to fly and spread his wings. This painting is a reminder of the power of the words aptly spoken by a friend we trust who loves us and comes along side us. What a gift. This piece is part of my "Hope on the Rocks" series about finding hope when we feel stuck.
