Kira Yustak paints fantastical scenes that come from her childhood memories, dreams, and the natural world. Each piece feels like part of a larger narrative of an alternative reality, rendered in a style she describes as comic realism. She feels art must trigger something inside the viewer’s soul.Kira currently lives in New Jersey and finds inspiration in the work of Lowbrow, Folk, and Surrealist artists.

Kira: Love it. Thank you. Linda

Received Charlotte. Love those glasses. You have a style all your own. Definitely a talented artist.
Kira, Your delightful painting, Autumn Breeze, arrived quickly and it is already one of my favorites. You so well captured the look of the subject as she glazes outward thinking of her life, what might have been and what will be next. Please don't stop painting Kira, your work is unique and captivating. Cheers, Frank
I loved the insight you provided Kira and I could not express it better- Im printing off your response to keep with the painting- and the name Kira, as an artist with great insight is perfect!!!!! Thanks so much, Cheers, Frank
Hello Frank, thank-you so much for your purchase of my painting "Autumn Breeze"! Many of the women I paint are fictitious characters, so there wasn't a particular person or model. I painted her from my imagination to express a feeling. She is walking through the park on a breezy Autumn day and thinking about her life and what she will do next. She feels as if there is a change in the air, just like the seasons are changing. It's as if you can hear the leaves rustling too. I hope that gives you some insight!
Hi Kira- I could not resist "Autumn Breeze"- somehow the face on that woman captivated me and I just had to have it. Was there a model and if so or not what was her expression trying to say? Can't wait to hang it in my art room. Cheers, Frank
Thank-you for the wonderful compliment!
All I hear these days is, I should work in series', and yet you do not work in series', but I recognize every one as yours alone. Beautiful work!
The colors you have chosen in this piece are very soothing. They have a pulsing sort of warmth that draws me in to perch among the leaves. I could meditate for hours on our feathered friends preoccupation. Very fulfilling composition.
I am very pleased to have my artwork represented on UGALLERY! Thank-you for stopping by to view my work, and please do not hesitate to post any questions you may have or comments!
