About this artwork

An abstract view of green rolling hills and a lake, inspired by the Lake District in England. I made use of a vibrant purple underpainting, which enhances the greens and blues of the rough textured landscape, says artist Ruth LaGue. She created the scene with brushes and palette knives to build texture and depth.
