"This is a portrait of my mother and grandmother, Eva," shares artist Toni Silber-Delerive. Referencing a 1940s black and white family photograph, she painted this using a soft-focused approach resulting in a bright impressionistic portrait. "I'm inspired by the trademark clothing and hairstyles of this era," says Toni. "The perspective has been eliminated from the cars and figures, creating flat graphic shapes."
