"This piece was inspired by the color wheel," says artist Voskan Galstian. "The colors come together to create a symmetry that leaves the viewer feeling content. The lines indicate light movement, and so this was allowed to demonstrate the intense energy."

When Voskan Galstian approaches a canvas, he does so with an open mind. "When I am creating art I tend to sever my mind from making decisions" he explains. His paintings show this intuitive process in their dynamic movement and unique color combinations. Voskan finds inspiration in abstract expressionism; in the vein of that style, he paints based on his deepest emotions. Many people have expressed that they feel a connection with his work - in some cases, it soothes them. When he's not making art, you can find Voskan traveling or reading about geography.
