In "Lethe," a train of children play in the mythological river of forgetfulness. Balancing surrealism and nostalgia, the style is at once charming and enigmatic. This work is on masonite board. It is varnished and will require a frame in order to hang.
Krzysztof Iwin is a graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdansk, Poland. His body of work is largely figurative with elements of surrealism. Showing frozen fragments of a reality that does not exist, Krzysztof attempts to capture the menacing, sometimes macabre beauty of the search for meaning.
