This piece was inspired by a painting I did called "Morning Light." In this piece, two sparrows meet in the morning on a branch. This reminds me of the intimate conversations we have with a spouse or friend that encourage  us and echo the hope of a new day. A palette knife was use in my process to layer and remove paint in the background representing the passage of time.
