I painted this piece as a musician would improvise on a melody. There is no hidden meaning; only a painting that was fun to paint; improvising on form and color as I went along.  The edges are painted red and the piece comes wired, ready for hanging.

Getting to Know Weldon

Weldon Ball creates bright, abstract landscapes that oftentimes let viewers fill in the details of a nature scene. He currently lives in West Tennessee and finds inspiration in landscapes from the Southeast or his visits to Europe. He advises viewers of his art to really pause and appreciate the color and the way that they create space, depth and an inner source of light.
