A row of trees separates a valley in the foreground from golden fields in the distance. Inspired from a scene in eastern Oregon or Idaho that Kip sketched in one of his notebooks. "There are some big expanses out there," says Kip. Part of his signature series of impressionist landscapes. He captures forest scenes, marshes and prairies throughout the year, playing up the changing color palette of the seasons and the specific lighting conditions. He focuses less on specific places than the overall feeling of the scene.
Anderson, South Carolina

I feel happy and peaceful when I look at this painting on our wall. It is in the eating area of our kitchen where it adds beautiful vibrant color to the room. A wonderful addition to one of the places in which we spend most of our time in our home! Thank you!- EG
I am so happy with this lovely new painting -- it is stunning in my house. It is so interesting and beautiful. I love the composition of the trees, the kinked road, the quirky roof in the background. The colors are perfect! A very cool piece of art and I am enjoying it immensely!- S Robertson
