"Fly" is about encouragement. A downcast female cardinal is being encouraged by her partner to fly. "I think of my husband, family and friends who God has used to lift my head and encourage me to fly when I need it most," says Mel Kistner. "Thankful for those who speak into my tough days and encourage me to do what I'm called to do." The black background has slight texture created with palette knife and brush work.
