Can't Tame Me
About this artwork
Part of artist Marie-Eve Champagne's series where she explores coastal life, landscapes, and memories. This particular piece is another exploration on the theme of beauty found in scarcity, yet this time through a more subdued palette, says Marie-Eve. Shapely and elongated succulent stems drape and flow against a beige open background. Hues are limited, emphasizing movement and strokes. Higher contrasts and the use of the black line can draw parallels to the medium of drawing.
