Krzysztof Iwin depicts the story of Alice in Wonderland in his signature surreal style. This is the moment Alice follows the White Rabbit down the rabbit hole. Krzysztof explains of his inspiration, "When Alice was a little girl, she ran after the White Rabbit, fell into his hole and unexpectedly found a fantastic and somewhat bizarre world, where fairy-tale creatures live, talking animals and singing flowers, and residents celebrate their birthday."
Krzysztof Iwin is a graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdansk, Poland. His body of work is largely figurative with elements of surrealism. Showing frozen fragments of a reality that does not exist, Krzysztof attempts to capture the menacing, sometimes macabre beauty of the search for meaning.
