Guthrie is a smallish town in central Oklahoma. The town is nationally known for its 19th and early 20th century commercial architecture. What I like most though, are the many Victorian homes in and around the town. They provide a beautiful backdrop for the town's Wild West origins. This house isn't in the town itself, it's nestled in the rolling hills nearby. The painting is on a gallery wrapped canvas with finished black edges. It comes varnished and wired for hanging.

Getting to Know Patricia

Patricia Freeman lives in Oklahoma City with her husband. When asked why she paints, Patricia replied, "I paint because I have to." The process, peeling the plastic off a new canvas to smelling the paint, lifts her to a state of pure joy.
