K Stevenson, Thanks for writing. These structures are metaphoric creations that I identify with as existing as a corporeal being, as a surrogate for the human being. They are seemingly empty, weathered, and unstable. They are the finality of something ending or something lost, but they also have a deep desire to be filled. They describe the complexities of the human condition...of love and loss, hope and despair, anticipation and disappointment, lust and loneliness. Let me know if you have any other questions. I hope I brought some insight into that piece for you.

Hello, yes "I Have A Feeling..." sold the other day. Thank you for your kind words and interest though. I have a piece still available..."How Does One Fall Asleep When One Is Without" that was made at the same time as that work, it has a similar feel and is the same size...if you are interested, it is my last painting left of that series.
