This painting was created from an original photograph I took of some working men at a grain elevator in Marshall, MO. I asked the gentlemen if I could take their photo and they said, "Sure, go ahead". It encapsulates a culture of which I am very much a part, the Midwest United States. I know what is involved with this kind of work having done a lot of it over the course of my life.
