This piece is one-of-a-kind.
It is a pronto plate print, printed with a traditional press, on bright white heavy vellum bristol. There is an embossment where the plate was laid over Plexiglass before running it through the press.
I created several versions of this piece on different types of paper and with subtle variations. The image was taken in Vermont and depicts thousands of birds resting on telephone wires. The edges of the image are purposefully left imperfect.
