This piece is in a limited edition of 300 prints.
It was created using a combination of drawing, painting, and computer manipulation. In other words, it only exists on the computer until it is printed. The work is an original creation, not a photographic reproduction of an original painting. I used to watch programs about World War II on the History Channel quite often. I would think about how different things were back then. Besides the interest in history, war ships are fun to draw. There is an implied story and lots of action. Pair that with the sheer joy I have of painting the sea and it is easy to see why I chose this as a subject.
